Julia Hope, LLMSW

Whether you're navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood, supporting your child through a difficult season, or adjusting to the emotional changes that come with pregnancy and the postpartum period, you don't have to do it alone. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported exactly as you are.

I specialize in working with children, parents, and mothers during the perinatal period. My approach is relational, attachment-based, and person-centered, meaning I believe healing happens through safe, authentic relationships. Together, we'll explore your unique experiences with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment, while building on the strengths you already possess.

When working with children, I utilize play therapy to meet them where they are. Because play is a child's natural language, it provides a safe and developmentally appropriate way for them to express feelings, process experiences, and make sense of their ever-changing world. Through play, children can build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and develop confidence in themselves and their relationships.

For parents and mothers, I understand that every stage of the parenting journey brings its own challenges and opportunities for growth. Whether you're preparing for a new baby, adjusting to life postpartum, navigating anxiety or overwhelm, or working to strengthen your connection with your child, I offer a supportive environment where your experiences are honored.

To fill my own cup, you'll usually find me curled up with a good book or working on a crochet project with a sweet treat in hand. More than anything, connecting with people is what I love most. Building meaningful relationships and walking alongside others through life's challenges and milestones is truly my passion. My hope is that when you step into my office, you'll feel welcomed, accepted, and supported as we work together toward healing, connection, and lasting change. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
