Reflective Supervision and Consultation

Reflective Supervision is a unique relationship between supervisor and clinician where stories can be shared and understandings deepened. As storyholders and tellers, we practice the art of holding others in mind and heart, together. This process allows deeper reflections, insights and attunement to develop in the supervisory relationship, in the clinician/client relationship and thus in the connection between parent and child.

This parallel process is at the core of maternal, infant and early childhood work. As you navigate this complex clinical and relational work with families, you deserve a space to be heard and held.

Together we’ll make meaning of the relationship you offer families and ground in next steps. As we navigate all of the complexities and the grey that shows up in your work with a family, we’ll make space for knowing that ‘you are enough’ and that ‘how you are is as important as what you do (Jeree Pawl)’.

Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation

Building a relationship with a mental health consultant can bring in new perspectives, and be a source of support for you and your team. Together we can explore and reflect on any challenges in your work, consult on case-specific concerns, and better care for those you support by paying attention to the social, emotional, and mental health aspects of your work with families.

We can offer individual and group consultation to a variety of care professionals including, teachers, nurses, doulas, pediatricians, midwives, foster care workers, and social workers working with families and children 0 through 6.

Training and Learning Groups

We offer a variety of training opportunities for Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood professionals in Michigan and across the country. These training opportunities can be helpful for any professional who works with families from pregnancy through age six.

Topic areas include culturally sensitive Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, relationship-based practices, Reflective Supervision, mindfulness, child development, clinical work with families, early childhood brain development, DC 0-5 (diagnostic classifications), mental health consultation, and more!

We can tailor training to the unique needs of your group or organization and will be available for a one-time event or ongoing support.
