How We Will Work Together

Our holistic approach includes mindfulness, compassion, and paying attention to the connection between mind, body, cultural experiences and relationships.

  • The first step in our work together is the initial phone consultation. This brief phone call allows time to ask questions, get to know each other and determine how we will work together.

Following the phone consultation, an intake session will be scheduled to share information, understand concerns and develop hopes for therapy. We will send you paperwork to fill in and sign prior to our first appointment.

  • We will meet weekly to build our relationship and therapeutic momentum

The first 4-6 weeks serve as a time to get to know one another and for me to understand more about what’s bringing you to therapy. This brief period also helps us understand if this is a good fit or if other services may be necessary.

  • Through consistent and ongoing work together you will find relief from the challenges that brought you to therapy. Our hope is that you will be able to apply newly developed skills and coping tools to your daily life. We will regularly check-in with you to make sure you’re feeling good about our work together.

Remember, lasting change takes time, but the investment in yourself and your family will be so worth it!

All therapy services are adapted to fit your unique needs. If you’re ready to get started on your journey with me, click below and request a phone consultation.
